Pioneer Family Campground is a safe, traditional outdoor experience that’s only 35 miles from northwest Indiana cities and just 90 driving minutes from Chicago. Take a drive to Fair Oaks Farm to see a real dairy farm at work or shop for local crafts at Amish Acres. Come back to the campgrounds to curl up with a good book or take a stroll on our trails. Birder watchers love our area, where they can see a variety of species.

We have Wood & Ice available in our Camp Store.  We also have a small selection of RV Products, souvenirs and assorted selection of condiments & toiletries. (Open May 1-September 30)

 If a full camping experience isn’t for you, we also offer 2 cozy cabin rentals.  Our Deluxe 1-bedroom Cabin comes complete with heating and air conditioning, a full kitchen (including equipment), a ¾ bath & an attached sunroom with a futon for extra sleeping space. 
If you don't have a tent, but enjoy tent camping, the Pine Tree Cabin is a small Sleeping Cabin with a ceiling fan & electric to charge your devices. It also has a loft for a place for the children to sleep, or to store your luggage. It shares a water spigot with the new RV site next door. The shower house is within walking distance.
